Automation as an engine of growth

The market

The trend towards increasing levels of automation in production plants means unmanned assembly lines can now be realised and this is helping to offset the benefits previously enjoyed by low cost producing countries.
Robots can now complete tasks with greater accuracy in terms of handling, assembly FAS (Flexible Assembly System), pick and place, finishing and testing. In addition, execution speeds are continually increasing along with reliability and there is also now the possibility to manage machines and monitor production remotely.
Sustainability and efficiency are goals which are being pursued by an increasing number of companies with automated operations and future choices regarding automation solutions will be influenced by environmental and eco-sustainability factors.

Drivers

Precision and speed must be combined with reliability and high quality. Solutions must be flexible, ensure repeatability and have the option of being managed remotely.
Future solutions will be characterised by increasingly compact dimensions and reductions in weight as advanced mechatronics and miniaturisation become even more important.

Solutions

Camozzi is able to offer solutions which benefit from the latest developments in terms of component miniaturisation and mechatronics. The Camozzi Research Centre (CRC) and associated laboratories are used extensively in this process to test all new products and customised solutions.
The C-Solutions division specialises in the manufacture of panels, systems and custom products for use in many wide ranging applications. Every product is tested in accordance with the main international standards and the specific requirements of each customer so that reliability and durability are guaranteed.
