The market

The trend towards increasing levels of automation in production plants means unmanned assembly lines can now be realised and this is helping to offset the benefits previously enjoyed by low cost producing countries.
Robots can now complete tasks with greater accuracy in terms of handling, assembly FAS (Flexible Assembly System), pick and place, finishing and testing. In addition, execution speeds are continually increasing along with reliability and there is also now the possibility to manage machines and monitor production remotely.
Sustainability and efficiency are goals which are being pursued by an increasing number of companies with automated operations and future choices regarding automation solutions will be influenced by environmental and eco-sustainability factors.
