Camozzi have recently introduced into their extensive range a new series of blocking valves. These valves can be used to enhance the safety of many pneumatic applications by permitting movement of cylinders only when a control signal is present. This control signal could be generated via interlocks indicating, for example, when a guard is in its closed position.

The compact design of these unidirectional and bi-directional valves allows direct mounting onto valves or cylinders, whilst the internal construction achieves a very high flow rate providing efficient and reliable operation.

The Series VBO and VBU blocking valves are available in G1/8 (5.5 mm) and G1/4 (8 mm).
