What Information Do We Need to Build a Replacement Cylinder Quickly?
To help us assess your pneumatic cylinder requirement quickly, it is useful to provide as much of the following information as possible:
- Cylinder type or series: for example ISO 6432, ISO 15552, compact, roundline, guided or rodless cylinder.
- Bore and stroke: including any non-standard stroke length required.
- Overall dimensions: especially if the replacement must match an existing machine or mounting space.
- Mounting style: including front, rear, foot, flange, clevis or special mounting requirements.
- Application details: what the cylinder is doing, the working environment and whether the machine is currently down.
- Photos, drawings or part numbers: these can help our team identify the fastest replacement route.
Express Build Service for Standard and Custom Cylinders
Camozzi UK’s Express Build Service can manufacture pneumatic cylinders in as little as one hour, depending on the cylinder type, bore and stroke required.
The service is useful when a cylinder failure causes production downtime, when a replacement part is needed quickly, or when a standard off the shelf cylinder does not match the application.

Our UK facility can support:
- Standard cylinder builds: many common cylinder types, bore sizes and stroke combinations.
- Custom stroke lengths: non-standard stroke lengths can be manufactured to suit the application.
- Long stroke requirements: custom stroke lengths are available up to 2000mm.
- Breakdown support: urgent cylinder builds can help reduce production downtime when time is critical.
- Application advice: the Camozzi UK team can help with cylinder related questions and replacement requirements.

How Camozzi UK Builds Pneumatic Cylinders Quickly
The Express Build Service uses Camozzi UK’s in-house machining, assembly and testing capability to produce cylinders quickly and consistently.
Here is how the process works:
- Piston rod machining: the piston rod is machined using CNC equipment.

- Cylinder barrel cutting: the barrel is cut to the required dimensions.

- Rod preparation: the piston rod is burnished ready for assembly.

- Cylinder assembly: the piston rod and cylinder components are assembled.

- Leak testing: the completed pneumatic cylinder is leak tested before dispatch.

- Build traceability: each cylinder is labelled with a code showing who made it and when it was manufactured.
Your pneumatic cylinder is then ready for dispatch!
What Can Affect Turnaround Time?
Camozzi UK can manufacture many pneumatic cylinders quickly, with some builds available in as little as one hour.
Turnaround depends on the cylinder type, bore and stroke, required modifications, component availability and workshop capacity at the time of enquiry.
For urgent breakdowns, obsolete cylinders or non-standard pneumatic cylinder requirements, our team can review the application and advise the fastest practical route.
